These Terms of Service govern your use of Mehta Tour & Travels taxi and tour services. By making a booking or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

Refers to taxi transportation, tour packages, car rentals, and related travel services provided by us.
"Booking"
Refers to a confirmed reservation for our services.
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by us:
- Bookings can be made via phone, email, or through our website
- A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation from us
- We reserve the right to refuse service without providing a reason
- Customers must provide accurate pickup/drop locations, dates, and contact information
- For airport pickups, please provide flight details for tracking delays

Our pricing is transparent and includes the following components:

Payment Terms:
- Advance payment may be required for confirmed bookings during peak season
- Balance payment can be made in cash to the driver or via digital payment
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes
- Additional charges may apply for waiting time beyond the free period
- Night charges (10 PM to 6 AM) may apply for certain services
Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both parties:
- Local Bookings: Cancellation free up to 2 hours before pickup. 50% charge if cancelled within 2 hours.
- Outstation Bookings: Cancellation free up to 24 hours before departure. 25% charge if cancelled within 24 hours.
- Multi-day Tours: Cancellation free up to 7 days before departure. Progressive charges apply as departure approaches.
- No-show: 100% charge if customer fails to show up at pickup location.
Refund Processing:
Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed within 7-10 business days using the original payment method.
As a customer, you agree to:
- Be ready at the designated pickup location at the scheduled time
- Treat our vehicles and drivers with respect
- Not engage in illegal activities in our vehicles
- Not smoke in our vehicles unless specifically permitted
- Inform us immediately of any issues during the journey
- Pay for any damages caused to the vehicle due to negligence
- Carry valid identification when required for specific tours
We reserve the right to terminate service immediately if a customer behaves inappropriately, is intoxicated, or engages in illegal activities, with no refund provided.
Our Commitment: We maintain comprehensive insurance for all our vehicles and passengers. Our drivers are experienced and trained for safe driving, particularly on hill roads.
Limitation of Liability: While we take every precaution for a safe journey, we shall not be liable for:
- Delays due to traffic, weather conditions, or road closures
- Loss or damage to luggage left unattended in vehicles
- Consequences of flight delays or cancellations affecting airport transfers
- Personal injuries except where proven to be caused by driver negligence
- Additional expenses incurred due to changes in itinerary not arranged by us
Travel Insurance Recommendation:
We recommend that customers obtain their own travel insurance for multi-day tours, especially for coverage of personal belongings, medical emergencies, and trip cancellations.
We maintain a fleet of well-conditioned vehicles:
- Etios: 4-seater sedan, suitable for small groups and city travel
- Innova: 7-seater SUV, ideal for families and comfortable long-distance travel
- Tempo Traveller: 12-15 seater, perfect for larger groups and tour packages
Service Standards:
- Vehicles are clean and well-maintained at the start of each journey
- Drivers are courteous, experienced, and familiar with local routes
- Basic amenities (water bottles) are provided on request for longer journeys
- Vehicles are equipped with necessary safety equipment
In case of any dispute or complaint:
- Please first bring the issue to our attention via phone or email
- We will attempt to resolve the issue amicably within 7 days
- If unresolved, the matter shall be referred to mediation
- Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Una, Himachal Pradesh
We value our customers and strive to resolve any issues promptly and fairly.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time:
- Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website
- Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance
- Material changes will be notified to customers with active bookings
- Customers are responsible for regularly reviewing these terms
